Create an original brand identity and web presence for a local acoustic jazz-rock band.
Far From Close is one of my musical outlets. I’m grateful to the band for giving me creative control over the look and feel of our art and design. The logo is a play on the band name. Quite literally, “Far” is farther away visually than “Close” with the “From” forming a shadow in perspective.
Here’s an original rough sketch of the concept.
The goal of this site was to create something that felt clean and visually timeless regardless of the device it was viewed on. The stunning background photos provide a beautiful backdrop for enjoying the musical stories the band creates.
